For engineers and operators
Ship hardware and software in the same building
Hardware and software in the same room, at the stage where both are still drawings. That means the loop from a sketch to a decision is days, not quarters, and nothing is so set that a good argument cannot move it. You will own a whole problem rather than a ticket queue — and you will hear from the riders when you get it wrong.
